Had lunch with my wife, daughter and father-in-law today at the Country Cupboard in Madisonville, KY. There are few things as good as a southern style comfort food buffet. Fried chicken, pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans, cornbread and more.

Margherita pizza from Mr B’s in Henderson KY. Good pizza. 3.5 moans out of 5. The mozzarella was shredded instead of sliced and the fresh basil was chopped too fine. All in all a nice change from chain pizza.

Steak Hoagie From The Poky Dot Restaurant In Fairmont WV

My family is from Fairmont WV and I graduated from highschool there. About 3 years ago I attended my 30 year class reunion and while there we stopped in at one of the oldest eateries in Fairmont, The Poky Dot. It has certainly undergone some changes but the food is still top notch in my opinion. I had a steak hoagie with fries and it was great (complete with Oliverio’s Peppers)
